Introduction

In mid-October, the UK government’s 3rd unilateral deadline for reaching an agreement with the EU on a Brexit deal expired. Simultaneously, almost half of the Population of the UK has been forced to local lockdowns and/or temporary circuit breakers as a consequence of the continuing COVID-19 issue. What effect will this convergence of conditions have on the restaurant business in the United Kingdom? This paper will attempt to address this issue by examining the different variables that contribute significantly to it. This will be accomplished via the use of PESTLE and Porter’s Five Forces analysis. It will also explore and clarify the significance of CSR for these companies (Petrie & Noman, 2020).
